What the email is

It is an invitation to claim your free public profile on the registry. The profile is built from your official State Bar of California record, which is public, and it is published whether or not you claim it. Claiming costs nothing and lets you confirm the record and add to it.

The registry itself (every California attorney indexed from the public State Bar roll, and the profile any message from us points to) is at californiaattorneyregistry.com. We use separate sending domains for attorney outreach. That is why the names differ, and it is reasonable to check them.

The registry is an independent index of a public record. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the State Bar of California. It publishes no ratings or rankings, and never charges an attorney to appear in it.

If you would rather not hear from us

Reply to any of our messages with the word "stop" and we will not write to you again. Your address is suppressed permanently, and your profile on the registry stays exactly as it is, because it is drawn from the public record rather than from anything you gave us.
